- I have a 28.8 multtech modem, and when connecting to anyting =even another
- modem of the same model= it is REALLY jumpy. is there naything I can do
- to fix this? Tonight, while chatting with someone it took
- me 20 seconds to ee two lines of text that wrote..
- (it was connecting to a PPI tower at the time)

- Oh, my modems:
- the modem is one of the "BA" externals, off of a cyclades 8 port serial
- card... firmware 2.06 (i _think_, id have to drop carrier to check)
- anything I can do to fix this. upgrade firmware?
